Ahoy there, Adam! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you for your question.
The
7-Night Northern Europe and Norweigian Fjords cruise has some of the most breathtaking ports of call. With quaint charm, beautiful canals, historic castles, and rocky fjords, each day of your journey is something a little bit different.
The ports on this
Disney Cruise Line vacation are all planned as docked - meaning that checking over your itinerary, none of the ports on this sailing are scheduled to use tenders. However, I feel like I need to remind you that the "best-laid plans" of Captain Mickey and men sometimes go astray. One of the ports on this sailing is
Sandnes (Stavanger), Norway. Stavanger can accommodate four docked ships. That's not often a problem, but if your ship is number five, you do tender in. Unfortunately, you won't know that until you arrive.
Adam, I've sailed with my dad and my mother-in-law, both of whom have used wheelchairs due to their disabilities, and I think Disney Cruise Line does an exceptional job providing
services for guests with disabilities. While there are some
things to know about using a wheelchair to get around - especially the fact that you do need to transfer to utilize a tender - you'll find most of the ship is accessible.
I wish you smooth sailing as you plan for your exciting voyage! And if there's anything else we can help with, we've got all hands on deck waiting to assist.
