I've been looking at multiple websites to find a map / guide that explains how to get from park to park - i.e. bus or monorail. Is there an easy way to understand this or a website that provides this information?

    Hi Corinne,

Welcome aboard the wonderful world of Disney Transportation. This transportation system combines buses, monorails and boats to easily move guests from one place to another.

To start, the Monorail will take you to Magic Kingdom and the following resorts: the Contemporary, the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian. There is a stop for the Ticket and Transportation Center which you can transfer to a monorail to EPCOT. These resorts and the Wilderness Lodge and Wilderness Campsite are also serviced by launch to the Magic Kingdom. To travel to any other Disney resort or theme park, you would board a bus to your destination.

The Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach, the Dolphin and the Swan are within walking distance to EPCOT and Disney Hollywood Studios. You can also take a boat to these parks as well. For other resorts and theme parks, you would need to take bus.

Now if I have not listed a resort, chances are you will be on a bus to travel between the resort and theme park. There is no direct service between resorts unless it is in the two groups above. To travel between resorts, head to the theme park closest to your resort or the resort you want to travel to and transfer.

For example, you want to go from Port Orleans Riverside to Contemporary-take the bus to Magic Kingdom and walk to the Contemporary. You want to go to Port Orleans Riverside to Animal Kingdom Lodge, take a bus to either EPCOT (closest to Riverside) or Animal Kingdom (closest to the Animal Kindgom Lodge) and transfer to a bus for Animal Kindgom Lodge.

But honestly, the transportation system is very easy to use, and if you need help, ask any castmember.

    Enjoy!
    Beth
