Looking for a moderate hotel-nothing to big, nice pool/slides, nice rooms/beds (3) & nice food court. Going with a total of 6 adults which 2 are grandparents and 2 10 yr old boys. Have stayed at Caribbean Beach, nice but to big,. Any suggestions ?

    Hi Kelly,

The moderate level resorts are Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans French Quarter, Port Orleans Riverside, and the cabins at Fort Wilderness. The smallest of these is Port Orleans French Quarter. The others are all quite large.

POFQ has my favorite moderate themeing, with lovely landscaping and quiet grounds. Plus it has some of the best beignets in town sold in the food court. As an added bonus, POR is in easy walking distance. You can use the food court and pools there if you're looking for a change of pace.

You might also want to consider the family suites at the new Art of Animation resort. The suites are technically in the value category, but they very much feel like a moderate to me. The only criterion of yours that it's missing is a pool slide, but the awesome food court makes up for that in spades. The Finding Nemo section of that resort is closest to the main building.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
