I have dined at
Kona Cafe multiple times during my stays at the Polynesian Resort and the food is such a great option because it is slightly adventurous and always delicious. Kona Cafe is considered a table-service meal on the
Disney Dining Plan, so even if you order it to go it will still be deducted from your meals in that fashion. Quick-service meals will only be those specifically listed as
quick-service restaurants. I highly recommend the pineapple bread pudding and the spicy tuna roll at Kona Cafe because they are delicious. If you are looking for a quick service option only head downstairs to
Capt. Cooks. They also serve the coveted Tonga Toast and have some great noodle bowls and wings.
While utilizing your dining plan on your vacation remember that you can always check how many meals and snacks you have left in the
My Disney Experience App. All you have to do is visit the My Resort Stay section on the app and select Check Dining Plan. Once you navigate there you will be able to see the total meals and snacks issued, how many have been redeemed, and how many are still available.
