    Looking at memory maker. Are any of the shots candid...? Not sure if we would get our money's worth, if we didn't stop to pose for pictures. Love mom's panal. So helpful. Thanks

    The MemoryMaker/PhotoPass photographers are not taking candid shots. There are photographers stationed at the front of most character dining experiences, at many iconic photo spots (in front of the castle, for example), at many if the character greeting spots, etc. 

    While it seems like posing for photos would take lots of time, my experience has been that the lines for many of the photographers are fairly short. For example, I was at Epcot a few weeks ago and wanted a photo of myself in front of the Epcot ball. This was at about noon and there was only one party in front of me. It took all of three minutes to get a great shot. I particularly love using the Disney photographers when I'm there with my children. I'm the designated family photographer, which means I'm rarely in the shot. With PhotoPass I get to be in the pictures with my kids. During one recent six-day vacation we had about 120 photos taken, without feeling like it took any significant time out of our vacation. And of course the photos taken during the rides themselves (which are sort of candid) take no extra time at all from your day.

    If you look at the individual photo pricing vs the package pricing, you'll see that it pays it to get the package if you'll want to buy more than about a dozen pictures. I don't do it during every trip, but I find that if I'm there for more than 3-4 days and I'm with a group, it almost always pays off.
