Looking to take the March 2015 cruise on the Fantasy. Is there a way ahead of time to know which night will be formal attire so I could book a hair appointment in the Spa? Also, does the one carry on limit also include personal items like a purse? TIA!

Welcome aboard, Jennifer! Isn't it exciting to begin researching and planning a magical Disney cruise? I hope you find the right sailing for your family for next spring!

The Disney Fantasy sails seven-night cruises to the Eastern or Western Caribbean, though it looks like March 2015's sailings on the Fantasy are all to the beautiful Eastern Caribbean. Usually, on those sailings, Formal Night is the second night onboard, which is the first at-sea day. Then, usually Semi-Formal Night falls on the second-to-last night onboard, which is another day at sea. Of course, attire rotations are always subject to change, but it's a pretty safe bet that the Formal and Semi-Formal nights are on sea days on the Fantasy.

Disney Cruise Line asks that guests limit their carry-on luggage to one piece per person, but you can certainly carry your purse along with a carry-on bag, no problem. As long as your luggage that you carry onboard fits through a security scanner (like those same type of x-ray machines you'd encounter at the airport), you'll be all set.

Stop back again if you have any other questions before you set sail and as you continue to plan! We're happy to help!
