I am looking at making reservations at Art of Animation Resort. I saw that there was only one bus stop at that resort. How long are the waits for a bus there in the morning?

    Hi Amanda! Welcome to planDisney!

You and your family are in for such a wonderful and exciting time at Walt Disney World Resort! I absolutely love visiting in the spring because the days are getting longer, the weather is practically perfect in every way and we get to experience the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! Nothing is more beautiful than the bold and bright flowers and topiaries that are everywhere you look throughout the Park.  Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for upcoming dates!

If you asked my children, they would request to stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort for every vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth! We first stayed here a few years ago and I've been asked to stay in a "Little Mermaid" room ever since! We absolutely loved spending time at The Big Blue Pool and grabbing breakfast at Landscape of Flavors so that we were fueled up for a day of fun in the Parks.

While you're correct that there is only one bus stop at Art of Animation, located outside of Animation Hall, I never noticed an issue with waiting for bus transportation while we were visiting.  Complimentary Disney Bus transportation runs approximately every 20 minutes (and to be honest they might be a little quicker in the mornings when everyone is trying to get where they want to go!) so you shouldn't feel like the wait is extremely long.  You always have the option of using a Minnie Van connected by Lyft.  Minnie Van Service provides rides from any and all Disney Resorts Collection hotels to select areas throughout the Resort and your driver is a Disney Cast Member! They even include up to two car seats if you need them!

Don't forget you'll also have the incredible option to get a bird's-eye-view of the Resort by flying on the Disney Skyliner! Since the Resort is right on the Skyliner line, you'll hop aboard this skyway when you're hoping to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT and only need to ride a bus for the other Parks and Disney Springs.

Enjoy every moment of your stay, Amanda!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
