Hi, Christina!
There are accommodations for all sorts of families at
Walt Disney World. With family suites that will accommodate up to six guests up to a 3-bedroom villa that can sleep 12, there's something for everyone.
Let's start with those family suites.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort features suites made just for larger families. With a separate sleeping area for mom and dad (or a napping infant), and multiple fold-out options, you'll find space for six guests. Better still, you'll have two bathrooms, and a small kitchenette with a microwave and small fridge. That lets you keep some snacks, drinks, or quick breakfast items handy.
Also sleeping up to six are
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground. These rustic cabins have full kitchens, bunk beds, and great outdoor space for eating and relaxing. There are also lots of fun things to do at the campground for families.
The option that offers you the most flexibility is
Disney's Deluxe Villa Resorts. With rooms that accommodate from four guests up to accommodations for 12, these villas can have full kitchens, washers and dryers in the unit, multiple bathrooms, and you can even stay in beach bungalows or rustic cabins.
Regular resort rooms are always an option, and I recommend requesting connecting rooms if you want to keep the family close together. Those cannot be guaranteed, but they do try to accommodate them when possible.
And yes! The water taxis are wheelchair accessible.
Have an awesome vacation!
Anna
