Hello, I am looking to inquire about booking a trip in October 2025

    Hi Midori!

Welcome to planDisney! How exciting to be starting the planning process for a Disney vacation. I think this fall will be such a great time to visit Disney World!

Ok…first things first. You’ll want to create a My Disney Experience account. This will become the hub for all of the plans you’re about to make. I’d also download the My Disney Experience app now, as well. You will use that app quite a bit as you plan and during your vacation. I recommend clicking through the app to see all it has to offer! That way, you know how it all works before your vacation comes around.

Next, make sure to check out the current special offers for Disney World. You just might find something that works for you, which can save you some money on your upcoming vacation!

Now let’s get into the different aspects of planning a Disney vacation. Once you’ve decided on your vacation dates, you can build a full vacation package that’s customized to your budget. At the top of Disney World’s website, you’ll see a section that says “Build Your Vacation.” Choose your travel dates and party size, then click “View Rates.”

You’ll see all the available resorts and pricing. After you choose the resort you’re interested in, you can decide to book the room only or a vacation package. If you choose a vacation package, the estimated price will include your full resort stay and park tickets. It’s good to note that the price may change depending on how many park days you’d like to purchase tickets for.

Once you decide on the room type for your vacation package, you’ll be able to choose how many park tickets and what type of park tickets you’d like.  Then you can choose if you’d like to add on a Dining Plan and/or Memory Maker

At the time of booking, you will only be required to put down a deposit. Then you can slowly pay off your vacation over time if you’d like!

Of course, booking your rooms and tickets is only part of planning a Disney vacation.  Other important dates to be aware of include making Advanced Dining and Enchanting Extras Reservations 60 days prior to your resort check-in date and purchasing your Lightning Lane services 7 days prior to your resort check-in date (if those are something you’re interested in!).

If you’re hoping for assistance in booking your vacation and planning the details of your itinerary, I recommend using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. To find one, you can simply use a search engine online.

I hope that helps to get you started! As you continue to plan, let us know if you have any other questions!
