Ahoy, Renee!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A Disney Cruise vacation is a great choice with the age range of your crew because there will be something for everyone! You can enjoy time together as a family as well as time as a couple. The
youth programming for ages 3-17 is included in your cruise fare so no need to budget extra for childcare. It's opened from early morning to late at night so they enjoy the programming all day long! There is even a group for your 18 year old-the 1820 Society. I just got back from a cruise, and this group was huge and seemed to have a blast all cruise long. I highly recommend your 18 year old checking out the activities when you set sail. All the events and activities will be listed in the daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator and on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app that can be downloaded for Apple or Android devices. It can be used for free while onboard and also has a texting option!
As for your accommodations, the best option is two connecting staterooms or two staterooms right across the hall from each other. Staterooms can accommodate from three to five Guests with each stateroom having a queen size bed and up to three single beds. Many staterooms have a split bathroom design, which offers two bathrooms-one with a sink and toilet and the other with a shower/tub combination and sink. You can check for connecting stateroom options by looking at each
ship's deck plans. You can also call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to have a representative assist you with finding the right stateroom category for your budget.
I hope I've steered you in the right direction. Please let us know if we can help you further with your plans!
