I am looking for information on the Boardwalk Ballyhoo guided tour? I read that it is a free tour at 9 am Wednesday - Saturday, you must check in at the Belle Vue lounge. Can you tell me a little about what we would see or do on this tour? Thnx, this rocks

Hi, Judy!  Being a Jersey girl who spent many summer vacations down the Jersey Shore, I can tell you this was a tour I thoroughly enjoyed.  But even if you are not from - or even familiar with - the shore, the tour is a great look back at some turn of the century history, with some real insight as to the inspiration for the resort.

The tour is an hour long, meeting at the Belle Vue Lounge.  You'll tour various areas of the resort, where you'll learn about decor and the history depicted in the pictures.  There are some period pieces that they will show you and talk about, and you'll even find some hidden Mickeys!

If you are at all interested in the decor of the resort, the history of Atlantic City, or even turn of the century history at all, it's a fascinating tour.  I love learning things about the resorts that most guests walk right by without even noticing, so it was well worth the hour to me.

I hope this helps with your planning!
