Hi Jackie,
I'm so glad that you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel for some advice for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. This is definitely one thing that we moms have to worry about, isn't it? I don't know about your kiddos, but sometimes I think that mine think that I really am like Mary Poppins and can keep anything and everything in my bag!
My family went through this exact same scenario recently. With five young Mouseketeers, we always had at least one, if not two, double strollers with us for years, so now that my youngest kiddos are too old for a stroller, we had to consider what we would do with the things that we bring with us into the parks! I hope that I can put your mind at ease, because we had absolutely
zero issues with managing our things on our last visit. I brought a sling bag with me, which was small enough to easily keep with me all day long, yet large enough for some snacks and anything else that we'd need. Each person was responsible for their own sweatshirt and could wear it, tie it around their waist, or choose not to bring it, and on the days where rain was in the forecast, we brought another drawstring backpack with us with ponchos for everyone and my crew simply took turns carrying that bag.
If you don't want to worry about keeping things with you all day, I'm happy to let you know that not only are there
lockers available to rent in each theme park, but there is also a wonderful
package pickup and delivery service so that you don't need to worry about your souvenirs.
Hopefully this helps, Jackie! Please feel free to come back and visit us again if you have any additional questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation together!
Missy
