We are looking at hotels for summer 2016, what is your view on Caribbean Beach? We stayed at Saratoga this year and loved the location near to downtown but felt that it was long walk to the reception area? Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks

    Hi Anthony,

Welcome to the Moms Panel. I love all the resort hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort because they each have their own personality. I personally adore Disney's Saratoga Springs for its proximity to Downtown Disney (soon to be Disney Springs). I agree about the long walk, though, but honestly, isn't everything at Disney a long walk, or at least a pretty good stroll?  Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has a great island laid back vibe, but is not walking distance to any of the parks and attractions. If you choose this resort, you'll want to request a room near Old Port Royal Centertown which is home to their wonderful pool area and bountiful food court.  Trinidad North and Martinique are the closet buildings to this location.

I hope you found this information helpful.  If we can make any other recommendations for your trip next year, please come back and visit.

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.
