Looking for a hotel for our 3rd WDW trip next August!Family of 5...choosing between Beach Club (is it worth the $?), Port Orleans Riverside or Art of Animation.Any info and recommendations would be most appreciated!Kids are ages 8, 10 & 12 (2 boys, 1 g

Hi Heather! What a great (and difficult) question! You've picked some of my favourite resorts in each category. The first, and always decision-making question for me is money. How much do you want to spend. For us, we usually opt for a longer stay at a moderate or value resort. Now, that being said, here are a few features of each resort.

The Beach Club is in my favourite location. You can walk or boat ride to the Hollywood Studios, Epcot and the Boardwalk. I love it there. And the pool is beyond fantastic. Definitely worth it! My daughter loves the marshmallow roast and movies of the beach.

Port Orleans is my favourite moderate, and again, the location is great! It's located on the Sassagoula River, so the setting is beautiful. I love being able to take the boat to Downtown Disney. All of the rooms have been recently updated and are fantastic! A great pool area and food court. You'll save money and won't be disappointed.

Art of Animation is newly opened, which is a feature for me! And if that's not enough, it's awesome! The pool area is incredible, and it's got a great food court.

Hope this helps with your decision Heather. Write me back with any other questions!
