Hey there! Hi there! Ahoy there, Shayla! Disney on land and at sea is my absolute favorite way to vacation, so I am glad to meet you at planDisney and talk about ways to make your dreams come true.
If you are sailing with Captains Mickey and Minnie, you have a few hotel options for a
pre-cruise hotel stay. You can book
transportation to Port Canaveral from any
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or the Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport. Now, you know my choice would be a Disney resort with a day (or two... or more) at a theme park before my cruise. At
Animal Kingdom Lodge last month, I left my suitcase with Bell Services for time at
Magic Kingdom before my flight home. They were arranging all the bags with those glorious
Disney Cruise Line luggage tags. While I am never sad about a day with Cinderella Castle in sight, the line where sky meets the sea called me. I really wanted to chase that horizon.
The Hyatt is another great option if you are flying into Orlando International Airport. You pick up your luggage at Baggage Claim and the hotel is just an escalator ride away. There are so many restaurants, and even a Disney Store, right outside your hotel room door.
With any of these hotels, you will get directions on where to meet your bus and leave your luggage, like those bags at Bell Services. One of the best features of using Disney transportation is boarding the bus with only your carry-on bags, and your checked luggage
automagically appears outside your stateroom later in the afternoon. Disney Cruise Line Pixie Dust before you even board the ship!
You can
call Disney Cruise Line to add a hotel stay and ground transportation to your cruise plans.
Shayla, if you have any other questions as you prepare for time at the Most Magical Place on Earth or aboard the most magical ship at sea, cruise back by
planDisney. We're here for you!
See and SEA 'Ya Real Soon!
