Welcome to planDisney, Sabrina! You've asked a
dog-gone good question! Pluto and I are happy you've decided to stop by Walt Disney World Resort on your way to the dog show.
It's always so hard to leave my furry friends behind when I travel to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Luckily, four Walt Disney World Resort hotels have designated
dog-friendly accommodations. They include:
Disney's Art of Animation ResortDisney Port Orleans Resort – RiversideDisney's Yacht Club ResortThe Cabins at Fort Wilderness ResortThese resorts allow up to
two dogs per Guest room, and they have easy access to outdoor walkways and greenspaces for leashed pets. You didn't indicate where you were planning to stay, but of all the Disney resorts a dog could love, I think they will be thrilled with the natural elements of Fort Wilderness. To me, 750 acres of pine and cypress trees, deer, ducks, and rabbits sound like a canine paradise!
All of these resorts have Standard overnight self-parking available to registered Guests for a fee that is charged per night that will be applied to your hotel folio upon check-out. They will probably have space for a trailer, but it may be some distance from your room; I don't know if that will be an issue for your pups. The theme parks also have Oversized Vehicle Parking. Check the
Parking page on the Walt Disney World website for up-to-date fees.
I hope you and your four-legged friends have a
paws-sitively magical time at Walt Disney World, Sabrina! If you have any more questions, please feel free to write back.
