Ahoy there, Michelle, and welcome back to planDisney!
How exciting that you are about to embark on another
Disney Cruise Line adventure! There is so much to explore on a Disney cruise and Officer Pin Trading is among the many ways to interact with the crew. Pin Trading is such a fun way to commemorate your vacation and I hope you will be happy to know that pin trading is back.
At the present time, Pin Trading Boxes which allow Guests to trade pins have been added to all Disney ships. You simply select a number and trade for the Disney pin that is in a drawer corresponding to your number. You don’t know which pin it is until the drawer is opened. Michelle, the process is a bit different than you might remember, but I’ve done some Pin Trading at
Walt Disney World Resort with this process and it was so fun to be completely surprised by the pin I received. I think you will also enjoy it! While you can still bring your pin lanyard, person-to-person trading is not allowed at this time. Don’t forget to stop by the
merchandise shops onboard to check out the adorable new Disney Cruise Line pins. They are Captain Minnie approved for sure!
Michelle, with so many
amazing activities and
entertainment opportunities aboard a Disney Cruise, I feel certain you will have a vacation full of magical memories. As a reminder, download the latest version of the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to your mobile device so you can get up-to-date information on all that is happening aboard your cruise.
Thanks for sailing by with your question, Michelle. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your vacation!
Wishing you smooth sailing,
Shannon
