Hey there, Nicole!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for coming to us with an excellent question about the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. As a Florida resident, I'm sure you're no stranger to visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort! Autumn is always an incredible time to visit EPCOT, and this year is no exception. Both the food and the entertainment lineup featured at this year's festival are absolutely delectable!
Nicole, I'm so sorry to share that, at the time of writing, The Wanted is no longer scheduled to perform in the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series at EPCOT this weekend. I did some digging and found that the two members of the musical group who were scheduled to perform announced they were forced to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. I understand this may be disappointing news, but I want to reassure you that the show will go on! Sheila E. is scheduled to perform through the weekend, thrilling Guests with musical talent. If you've purchased an
Eat to the Beat Dining Package based on your desire to see The Wanted, I recommend visiting Guest Relations when you arrive at EPCOT to discuss your options.
Be sure to pick up a Festival Passport at the main entrance to EPCOT upon arrival, Nicole. It'll help you map out your "must-eats" at the
Global Marketplaces throughout the theme park - and there are a
lot of items on my list this year! The filet mignon in Canada was the star of the show during my visit last week, but I can't wait to return and try the tostada in Mexico. The handy
Disney Gift Card wristbands provide a super convenient way to pay for all your snacks and drinks around the World Showcase!
Nicole, I understand this may not be the news you were hoping for, but I hope you have an enjoyable time at ECPOT this weekend, filled with tasty treats. If you have any additional questions about this year's EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival or about your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, you can always find us here at
planDisney! We're all ears.
See ya real soon,
Lauren
