Welcome aboard, Kelly! I'm so excited that your family will get to experience the
Marvel Day at Sea sailing out of New York this fall! You're in for magic of superhero proportions!
While there will be many more Marvel activities and Meet and Greets than guests normally find on Disney Cruise Line's sailings, you can rest assured that the Disney Princesses will also be onboard to meet with guests! If this is your very first cruise with Disney, you'll be able to begin your online check-in at 75 days prior to departure (90 or more for guests who have sailed with Disney before). Be sure to log in as soon as you're able since that is when you begin booking those fun extras like
special Character Greetings, Port Adventures, and Adult Exclusive Dining. Many of the most popular ones book up early, so you don't want to wait! One event that you won't want to miss if you have Disney Princess fans in your family is the Disney Princess Gathering. Four or five of the princesses gather in the atrium of the Magic to meet with guests, pose for photos and sign autographs. Sure, you can also catch them individually during their own Meet and Greets throughout your cruise as well, but little girls adore seeing all of them in one spot and getting to go down the line meeting each one! My daughter has loved this event since our very first cruise, and still wants to go each time we sail! If your little one has a princess dress, that's the time to wear it!
You'll also see the princesses in the fun Broadway-style shows onboard, like
Tangled: The Musical! And, as I mentioned before, they are out for their own Meet and Greets throughout the sailing too.
Have fun planning your heroic cruise, Kelly!
