Welcome aboard, Amanda! I love hearing from other folks from Ohio who are looking forward to setting sail with Disney Cruise Line, like my family! I am very much looking forward to sneaking away from the chilly Ohio fall to set sail with Disney this October too! It's a great time to cruise!
Disney Cruise Line offers Rotational Dining, which means that guests rotate through all three of the main dining restaurants throughout the sailing. Since your cruise is a three night sailing, you'll get to visit each of these restaurants once. I'm sorry that you will not be able to dine with Crush in
Animator's Palate for two nights, but I promise that you really don't want to miss the atmosphere in
Enchanted Garden or
Royal Palace, the other two restaurants in your rotation. Plus, one of my family's favorite parts about this type of dining is that our dining servers rotate with us! Yes, the team that waits on us night one, will also meet us night two and three in the other restaurants, getting to know us and our preferences, and we get to know them. My kids adore making friends with these fabulous dining servers who play games, tell jokes, and show magic tricks to the kids. They become like part of our family throughout the sailing!
Now, for breakfast and lunch, you've got all sorts of other options: table service or buffet, snack stands, quick service on the pool deck, or even 24-hour complimentary room service! Take your pick! I promise that you'll not go hungry when at sea with Captain Mickey!
Have fun planning, Amanda, and let us know if we can help with any other questions throughout the next months as you prepare to head out to sea!
