Welcome back to planDisney, Madeline! A fall getaway sounds like a perfect way to celebrate the changing of the seasons. Add in a quick trip to the links and you have a magical vacation planned!
While
complimentary taxi service is available from
Walt Disney World Resort hotels to the golf courses, this service cannot be used to travel directly from a course to a theme park. If your husband would like to head to the
Magic Kingdom after his day on the course, he does have a couple of options. First, he could request a rideshare service to pick him up at the golf course. This would take him to the Transportation and Ticket Center, where he could board the Monorail or a ferryboat to continue to Magic Kingdom. Alternatively, he could request a
Minnie Van, which can provide drop-off at the entrance to Magic Kingdom.
Another option would be to use the complimentary taxi service to return to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel and then take a Resort bus to Magic Kingdom. If your husband is bringing his own golf clubs, this may be the most convenient option. He can leave his golf clubs with Bell Services at your Resort hotel rather than taking them up to the room. When he is ready to play, he can have a Cast Member retrieve his clubs from storage and head out to the course!
If your husband decides to use the complimentary taxi service, here is how it works. When he is ready to head out, simply stop by your resort’s Lobby Concierge, Bell Services, or the Valet Desk, and they’ll take care of arranging your ride. After his round of golf, he can either swing by the Pro Shop or ask a Cast Member at the course to help set up his return trip to the resort. It’s all handled for him, so the only thing he needs to focus on is his game!
If you have any additional questions about transportation, or any other aspects of your Walt Disney World vacation, Madeline, please visit us here again at planDisney. We are happy to help!
May he hit ‘em well!
