Ahoy, Gloria!
Your adventure to the Last Frontier is just around the corner! Can you believe in about a month's time your crew will be casting off for an incredible
Alaskan vacation on the Disney Wonder? It's so close!
I'm sure packing is on your mind as you gather everything you need to be comfortable in this unpredictable climate. I remember I started packing about three weeks prior to our departure, and it really made the days leading up to our cruise a lot less stressful. Do you have your waterproof outer layer ready? This really comes in handy if you experience some of that liquid sunshine Alaska is so famous for! Also, don't forget about comfortable, waterproof shoes. These made all the difference for my crew when we ventured ashore in several of the ports. As for dinnertime,
cruise casual attire, such as shorts and golf shirts for men, is acceptable in the main dining rooms each evening including the formal and semi-formal nights. My husband did get chilly at night even though he's typically hot-natured on our Alaskan cruise so you may want to throw in a pair of khakis and some long sleeve button-down shirts as well.
Gloria, your amazing journey is just a few weeks away! We hope you'll let us know if you have any other last minute questions before the big day arrives.
