We are looking forward to our cruise on the Fantasy in May. Our 4 year old is most comfortable swimming with a life jacket. Are children's life jackets available to remove from the ship for shore excursions?

    Hi Carol!

You have so much to look forward to on your upcoming cruise as your fantasies come to life on the newest member of Disney Cruise Line!  I'm also about to embark on this spectacular vessel, and can't wait to experience all she has to offer on the high seas.  Safety is Disney's number one concern for its Guests, so if your four year old needs a lifejacket, please bring it along.  If you are participating in a splashtacular Port Adventure ashore, I recommend checking with the Port Adventure Desk on Deck Five Midship because many tour operators will have life jackets available for use during the activity.  I know Castaway Cay has them so you will not have to take the life jacket ashore but can pick one once you disembark.

May is just around the corner! It will soon be your family's turn, so please let me know if you think of any other cruise questions before you set sail for the Caribbean!

Have a wonderful day and a magical cruise!
