Welcome to planDisney, George, and Welcome Home!
Honestly, I can't decide which I am more excited to discuss, a
Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise or a DVC Member Cruise to
Lighthouse Point. A DVC Member Cruise is at the very top of my must-do DVC list. Let's dive into taking a look at helping you set sail to that line where the sky meets the sea.
In my opinion, the first step in using Vacation Points to book a Disney Cruise Line voyage is examining the
Points chart for your particular sailing. The amounts listed are per person in Reservation Points and vary by stateroom category. Each time you use your Vacation Points for a Disney Experience, like
Disney Cruise Line or
Adventures by Disney, you must convert your Vacation Points to Reservation Points. Each Reservation Point is equal to one Vacation Point. When you are ready to book, give
DVC Member Services a call, and they will convert your Points as well as make your reservation. The typical one-time transaction fee for converting Points will be waived for the Member Cruise. However, remember that once Vacation Points are converted, they cannot be changed back to use for DVC Resorts. I hope this helps you find your inner voyager aboard a DVC Member Cruise!
