Welcome aboard, Debra! What a magical treat for your three teen girls to get to set sail together on a Disney Cruise Line vacation! Onboard, they'll love Vibe, the Teen Club where they can meet new friends and participate is some pretty cool activities with the hip counselors. But, when you dock in the ports, I have some great suggestions! One of my favorite Port Adventures is the
Stingray City in Grand Cayman. There are a few different adventures that include a snorkel stop there, where you can swim right up and pet these huge, amazing creatures! The link here takes you to the most basic adventure, but some of the other Stingray City adventures also include a beach day or other tours before or after the Stingray City visit. Check them all out!
If the girls are thrill-seekers, check out the
Passion Island Twister, which teens tend to love! But for a true cultural experience, my favorite is the
Cozumel Ruins, Chocolate and Beach Break. History at the ruins, tasty Mayan cacao at the chocolate workshop, and relaxing at the beach to round off the day. Plus, the drive between each takes you the entire loop around the island for a great tour! It's by far my favorite adventure in Cozumel!
If you plan adventures in those two ports, you can easily skip a Port Adventure in Key West, and simply head off the ship on your own to explore the town. It's all walkable and includes lots of shops and dining spots, as well as places to pop in on your own like the Pirate Museum. We've rented bikes there too which is fun!
I hope those ideas are a good starting point for your trip, Debra! Happy planning!
