Welcome aboard, Victoria!
I love trying the Drinks of the Day when we sail, so I'm glad you're already looking into that possibility too! Typically, these cost around $5 each, which is a decent price for a tasty adult beverage, I think. Gratuity of 15% is added to that too. My kids enjoy non-alcoholic Drinks of the Day for just over $4 each, plus the gratuity. Speaking of favorite drinks, when you're at
Castaway Cay, you absolutely must try the Konk Kooler. It's the island drink specialty and I have one (or two, or three...) each time we visit. If you fall in love with it like I did, then you can also ask the bar tenders onboard to make it, as they'll have the recipe too. I got the recipe myself and tried it at home, and while it is reminiscent of my time onboard, it's not quite the same as enjoying it while lounging in a hammock on Disney's private island! But, I'll take what I can get!
In the bars, you'll find other adult beverages that range from $6 to $14, depending on type. Of course, there are super fancy wines and liquors that cost a small fortune available as well, but for your average evening drink, you're not looking at much more than what I mentioned above. Beers are around $4 and $5, and for wines, you're looking at $6 to $10 per glass. My favorite Godiva Chocolate Martini was about $9 the last time I ordered.
You may want to check out the beverage packages available for pre-order through the
Gifts and Amenities page as well, since those can save you a bit of money in the long run. And you simply must attend at least one of the
beverage tasting seminars onboard! My favorite is the liquor and chocolate pairing, but they're all amazing!
Have fun planning!
