We are looking for a dining experience for our children with the characters. My 5 year old son loves Mickey and Friends and my 7 year old daughter is a Princesses fan. Is there anywhere we can go to see both at the same time?

    Hello Becky,

A Walt Disney World Character Dining experience is a wonderful time where children AND adults are able to have a more magical moment with some of their favorite Disney characters. And while a Mickey and Friends and Princess character dining scenario is a practically perfect idea, unfortunately one does not exist at the time. However, I can recommend a couple of restaurants for your to consider for each child.

To meet Mickey and his Pals, I highly recommend Chef Mickey's, located at Disney's Contemporary Resort, for either breakfast or dinner and sometimes lunch during busier seasons. Another great option is Disney's Animal Kingdom Park's Tusker House Restaurant. Characters visit only during breakfast, which is quite yummy, and advance dining reservations are highly recommended.

The Disney Princesses are busy greeting dining Guests at Cinderella's Royal Table, found in Magic Kingdom Park, and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, located at Epcot in World Showcase's Norway. Both are wonderful places for your princess to see her favorites but do make note Cinderella has asked Jaq, Gus and the Fairy Godmother to some interior decorating in the castle beginning in January 2015. Hopefully, with a little bit of Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust and the Fairy Godmother's magic wand all will be perfect and ready to go sometime in Spring 2015.

Advance dining reservations can be made online, through your My Disney Experience, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
