    i was looking for a cute poem to tell my six year old daughter that we are going to Disney world for her birthday do you know of any?

    Hi Walter!

    How exciting that you are suprising your six year old with a trip to Walt Disney World!

    This is a moment that she will never forget and I can see why you want to find a special way to announce this! 

    You gave me quite a challenge, as I couldn't find a poem online, so I wrote a poem for you in the tune of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" that I hope you like! I like it so much, I think I'll use it with my kids with our trip coming up in November. I hope you like it! 

    'Twas the night before Disney, when all through the house
    The entire family couldn't sleep, because of a famous mouse
    Every suitcase was packed, and put in the car with care
    Early in the morning they were leaving, and would soon be there

    The children were all nestled all snug in their bed
    As they had no clue to the excitement that lie ahead
    Mom can't wait to reveal the surprise
    Dad is just as excited, although he won't tell the guys

    Garden Grill, Tusker House, Chef Mickey's, oh my!
    Can't wait to eat with Mickey, everyone's favorite guy
    The Cinderella Castle, aglow in the night
    Fireworks sparkling ahead, there is no better sight

    The best part is, this isn't just a rhyme
    We're going to Disney, and will be there tomorrow at this time
    We love you Joshua and Emily, you both are the best!
    We are going to Disney, so you better get your rest

    I hope you like it!
