    I am looking into customizing a few magic bands in advance and I was hoping I could do it online so they can be mailed to me and I can give them as gifts before the trip begins. Can I do that?

    Hi Sydney! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love a Disney surprise and I think your idea to customize your MagicBands ahead of time and give them as gifts is a great idea! 

    Guests at any of the 25 Walt Disney World Resort hotels enjoy many benefits during their stay. Receiving a complimentary personalized MagicBand is just one of them! The complimentary bands come in solid colors and you can have names printed on the inside of each band. If there’s a specific character or theme you like, one can always be purchased online, or from the Shop Disney Parks app.  Since you’re planning to give them as gifts before your upcoming stay, customizing them can be done in just a few steps. 

    After you have squared away those details, here’s the timeline for receiving your bands before your stay:

    -Customize 11 days before you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel and they will be shipped to your home.  

    -Customize between 10 and 6 days before arriving, you will have to wait until you arrive at your Disney resort hotel to receive them.

    -If you do nothing, you will receive a non-customized MagicBand upon arrival to your hotel.

    Now you just have to figure out where and when you will give your gifts!
