    I am looking to take my 1st cruise 12 night Mediterranean Aug 2013. I am a single. Would you recommend traveling to Europe and cruising as a single. Also I only have 170 DVC points per use year. Is it possible to borrow enough points to do this?

    Hi there Daniel!

    The 2013 itineraries look spectacular especially the 12-night Mediterranean cruise!  Disney Cruise Line provides an incredible experience no matter what the age or party size!  Each day there will be plenty to keep you busy with many "Just for Adults" activities planned by the Cruise Staff.  From the peaceful Quiet Cove pool to Rock 'N' Country in the Rockin' Bar D, check your Personal Navigator daily to stay up-to-date with the adult-only activities.  There is even a Singles' Lunch and Singles' Mingle for Guests just like you! 

    Since I am not a Disney Vacation Club Member my fellow Moms panelist, Andrea, provided me with some helpful information about using your points.  By being a DVC member, you can bank your points from this year to next year or borrow your Vacation Points from next year.  By adding your two years' worth of points together you should be just under the points needed for this cruise at 340.  With the One Time Use Points, you have the option to purchase additional points One Time per Use Year.  These One Time Use Year Points cost $15 each, and you can buy up to 24 per year.  Check the DVC Member website to locate the 12-night Mediterranean cruise on the Disney Collection Points Chart for 2013.
