    Hi I am looking at going on my 2nd cruise. It will be my husband and 2 youngest ones first. I am wanting to know if August is a good time to go on the Disney Dream. I am worried because we just got back in September from a 10 day WDW trip.

    You asked about the best time to cruise. Honestly, any time is a great time to cruise with Disney! You won't need to worry too much about weather, as it's usually beautiful and warm in the ports of call, winter through summer. Hurricane season in the Caribbean is technically June through November, but odds are if you sail during that time, you'll have a perfectly wonderful cruise. The ships know how to divert away from storms, so no need to worry about that. There could be changes in ports during a hurricane though. If you are sailing during the height of hurricane season, you might consider getting cruise insurance just in case.

    August will be very hot in the Caribbean, but you'll be on the islands and onboard the breezy ship, so if you ask me, that isn't much a deciding factor. Plus, you'll love the pools and AquaDuck on the Dream when you need to cool off! My advice is to go with a month that works for your family and then search for which of Disney's cruises during that time will fit your budget. You can't go wrong with any of their ships or ports. Disney takes great care to ensure that wherever and whenever Disney Cruise Line sails, their guests have the best experiences possible.
