Looking into cruise and bit confused as I want to choose specific deluxe inside, but only guaranteed stateroom options showing. What does this mean and how can I choose deck and cabin? Thanks

    Ahoy, Anita!

Thank you for sailing back over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your cruise question. Sometimes Disney Cruise Line offers a "Guaranteed" stateroom option for a lesser price, and the tradeoff is that Disney Cruise Line will select the location for you. They "guarantee" it will be in the category that you reserve, or there is a possibility it will be in a higher category. My crew isn't too picky about our stateroom location so we've chosen Guaranteed staterooms on a few of our sailings, and it has always worked out for us. I'm not sure which cruise you are considering, but it appears that only Guaranteed Deluxe Insides are available to book. You may want to look at another category if you want to select your own location or give the Guaranteed option a try.

When we've cruised in Guaranteed staterooms, we received our stateroom assignments a few months prior to the cruise and as late as two weeks before so that is also something to consider because there will be no way to know when it will come. It can happen as late as your actual sail date.

I hope I've given you some helpful insight on your stateroom selection, Anita. If we can help with additional questions, please write back.

    Good luck with your plans!
