Hi there, Kristy! Thanks for taking the time to visit us here at planDisney!
Unfortunately,
Disneyland theme park tickets are nonrefundable unless canceled by Disney. And although Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort both share similar pixie dust and magic, they don't have a reciprocal agreement regarding tickets. I know this is not the answer you were hoping to hear; however, I do have some options I'd like to share with you.
If you have a friend or family member planning a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth in the near future, you can transfer your unused tickets to them. Since you cannot make this change yourself on Disneyland.com or within the
Disneyland mobile app, I recommend calling the Disneyland Resort Ticket Service team at (714) 781-4636 to get help from a Cast Member who can reassign the ticket to the appropriate person. You can also visit the website for Ticket
Terms and Conditions.
Perhaps you can consider rebooking your California trip for a later date? Even if your tickets expire, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to purchasing a new ticket with an equal or higher price. If the new tickets are more expensive, you'll just need to pay the difference. You will also need to call Ticket Services to do this. Once you get your new dates in mind, make sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and make your
park reservations.
No matter when you eventually go, Kristy, remember Walt once said, "Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world." There are always exciting new things to see and do. Check out planDisney's
Instagram page for happenings in the parks from both coasts!
