Hi, I am looking for character dining experiences for my 2 and 5 year old daughters. We are planning on doing Akershus Royal Banquet Hall & Hollywood and Vine with Oso & HM. We'd like to use only 1 credit for each meal. Recommendations?

Hi Bridget! I'm a huge fan of character dining. It's a fantastic way to enjoy a great meal while having one-on-one time with the characters and photo ops that can't be beat. Here are a few suggestions for character meals that require only one credit on the Disney Dining Plan:

    - 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian Resort. Given their ages, your girls might prefer breakfast, which is delicious and fun. When we were there we were visited by Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Pooh and Eeyore, which thrilled my daughter! Be sure everyone tries the strawberry soup!

    - Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom is a gorgeous restaurant with super yum food. Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet are so much fun, and will lead the kids on a parade through the restaurant.

    - Crystal Palace in the Contemporary Resort is a long-standing favourite. The buffet is good, but we go back for the characters. Mickey, Goofy, Donald and their pals are so entertaining.

These, and all, character meals are extremely popular, so be sure to reserve in advance, either by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) or by reserving online here.

    Happy dining Bridget!
