Hi Michael! Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The new limited-time
Mid-Day Magic Ticket Offer allows Guests theme park entry after 12:00 noon. This is a great option for those who may not be early birds and would like to sleep in on their vacation, or would prefer to spend their mornings relaxing before venturing out into the theme parks. This ticket does offer cost savings when compared to a standard theme park ticket with the same number of admissions and options.
Michael, while it is certainly
possible for you to purchase your tickets as you have described, I can't recommend doing it that way. With the price structure of
Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets, the cost per day of admission goes down as the number of days on the ticket increases. So an 8-day ticket costs far less than two 4-day tickets. I think you would be much better off purchasing an
8-Day Ticket with Park Hopper Option. This would give you the flexibility to visit more than one theme park each day, as well as enter during the morning hours every day of your visit. I crunched the numbers for some sample dates, and purchasing a
4-Day Mid-Day Magic Ticket with Park Hopper Option and a standard
4-Day 1 Park Per Day Ticket would cost about 50%
more than purchasing an 8-Day Ticket with Park Hopper Option.
Another option you may want to consider, especially if you were planning on purchasing
Memory Maker for your trip, is
purchasing an Annual Pass. An Annual Pass would give you an entire year of theme park admission with the ability to park hop, and unlimited downloads of all your
Disney PhotoPass photos captured during the time your Annual Pass is valid. Annual Passholders are also eligible for other
perks including complimentary theme park parking and
discounts on dining, merchandise, and recreation. If you happen to be a
Disney Vacation Club member, the
DVC Gold Pass would probably be your best bet.
I hope that helps! Please visit the Moms Panel again anytime! Have a wonderful vacation.
