Hi, I was looking to buy the Disney Pirate Pass after moving to Florida to join my family. I see that it is now unavailable. If I purchase the Disney Dixie Dust Plan can I later upgrade to the Pirate Pass to be able to go with my sons? Thanks

Greetings, and welcome to planDisney, Pamela!

Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

I love that you’re thinking about joining the Annual Passholder family! When my family and I first became Annual Passholders, we knew we had made the best decision for us. Between the discounts on select dining and merchandise and being able to prolong the magic all year long, we absolutely love it!

Pamela, you’re correct; only the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is currently being sold, and it is for Florida residents. If you were to get it once you become a Florida resident and the other passes came back on sale, you would be able to upgrade and use the Monthly Payment Plan option; however, the upgrade would have to be in person.

The Disney Pixie Dust Pass allows Guests to visit the theme parks on most weekdays with a valid Disney Park Pass reservation. Subject to blockout dates, Guests can hold up to three park pass reservations!

I hope the Disney Pirate Pass becomes available once again for you to upgrade to, but until then, I hope you take advantage of the Disney Pixie Dust Pass as it allows Guests to sparkle with Disney Magic!

We can’t wait to welcome you and your sons to the magic, Pamela. Have an enchanting visit!
