Hey there, hi there, ho there Anita!
You're as welcome as can be at planDisney! Thanks for visiting us with your Disney World planning question, we love helping guests plan their magical stay. And I especially love talking about the
Disney Dining Plan, because it's one of my favorite things.
But before we start, if I may... three cheers for RESORT-REFILLABLE MUGS!! Woo hoo!
When you check-in on arrival day, all of your dining plan credits will be loaded into your account. You'll be happy to know you can mix up your use of those dining plan entitlements any way you'd like, throughout your stay! My family really appreciates having this flexibility. I enjoy the combination of having some spur-of-the-moment dining experiences during our park day, by cashing in our Quick Service meals. Along with having some awesome reservations to excitedly look forward to at our favorite restaurants, using a Table Service meal. The same goes for snack entitlements, you can use them whenever you wish during your vacation, no day restrictions. Yay, you! So Hakuna Mata if you need to use 2 or 3 snack entitlements on the same day. Because let's face it... we all go hard for snacks on EPCOT day!
On the day of your arrival, you will be able to view all of your allotted dining plan entitlements in the
My Disney Experience app for easy tracking. To do so from your app home screen, scroll down to your "My Resort" link. Open your reservation, and you should have a "Check Dining Plan" tab that will show your totals remaining. Be sure to use all of your entitlements by midnight of your check-out day, when they expire.
Have you tried using the
Mobile Food Order feature inside the app? It's very slick, and a nice way to skip the stand by food line during a busy lunch. Be sure to give it a try! I often place a mobile food order while my family is waiting in line at an attraction, as it allows you to select your time, and is a leisurely way to peruse the menus at different dining locations and decide what you'd like to eat.
I'm so excited for you to be planning next year's wonderful vacation at Walt Disney World, and I hope this helped! Please
visit me again any time at planDisney, Anita... I'd love to share more tips or dining recommendations.
Magical Memories Await,
Tami
