I am looking at booking the seat and sweet dining dessert experience for the fireworks at MK, I have a disabled member of our party that will not eat or drink any of the items, do I still have to pay full price for all for of us or 3 at full price and 1 at

    Hi Anthony,

The Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats & Sweets experience is a great way to see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom in luxury! We love the idea of a guaranteed seat with a view while also enjoying some delicious food and drinks. Beer and wine are also included for guests over 21 so this is a great option for a nightcap before heading back to your Disney Resort hotel for the evening.

I just spoke with a cast member and they informed me that only guests with a ticket will be able to enter the special viewing area. Unfortunately, there is no separate ticket option for someone who will not be able to partake in the food and drinks that are part of this event. Even though you have to buy a ticket, it still may be worth it for a more relaxed sensory experience watching the fireworks. One of the things I appreciate about this event is that you will be seated at a table with a comfortable distance between parties. If anyone in your travel group is sensory sensitive and gets overwhelmed by crowds, this is a nice break from the busy atmosphere of the theme park.

Since you will be traveling with a guest who has a disability, I highly recommend checking out Disney World's updated guide for guests with disabilities. There is a lot of great information about which rides will require transfers from a mobility device, how to access disability parking, and details about the sensory experiences that you may need to navigate. A unique thing that makes Disney World extra special for us is that the restrooms throughout Disney World are amazing for guests who need assistance. Near almost every restroom is a separate companion bathroom where you can enter with someone who needs assistance and have complete privacy for medications, changing, and taking care of any other needs.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
