I am looking into booking our first ever Disney Cruise for the middle of November. What is the weather like during that time? Is it still warm enough to enjoy the water activies onboad and at Castaway Cay? Thanks!

Welcome aboard, Mona! My family has cruised a few times in November with Disney Cruise Line and we've always found it a great time to set sail to warmer waters!

The weather in the Bahamas and Caribbean in November tends to be in the upper 70's to low 80's as a high, which for my family, coming from cold Ohio, is a welcome change! My kiddos have always enjoyed swimming in the pools then too. In fact, even if it's a chilly sea day, the pools feel great because they are heated when the temperature drops below 75 degrees. That allows even me to get in with them!

I would suggest bringing layers like a sweater or light jacket for cooler nights and those breezier, chillier sea days. I also like to have a sweater with me for dinners and in the theatre as I tend to get a bit chilly there too, but that's all year long, not just in the winter.

I was at Castaway Cay in November and again last month and both times the ocean water felt great after sitting on the beach in that warm weather. I hope you'll find the same! Of course you'll want to check the weather forecast the week before you leave to ensure you pack correctly, but do expect it to be warm!

I hope those details help as you continue to plan for your sailing, Mona! I'm happy to help if you have other questions so please feel free to stop back again!
