Welcome aboard, Katrina! Hooray for considering your very first sailing with Captain Mickey and his crew! My family and I began sailing with Disney years ago, after having sailed with other cruise lines, and we will never go back now! Disney offers the best service, fun, accommodations, and entertainment at sea! That is for sure!
Your best bet with a family of six is to book two connecting
staterooms. Staterooms sleep three, four, or five, so getting two adjoining rooms will give you all enough space, an extra bathroom, and a door between the two so you can come and go as you please. The staterooms are pretty spacious for a cruise ship, I must say. And you'll really enjoy the split bath. Each stateroom will have two bathrooms - one with a shower and tub and sink, and another with a sink and toilet. And lots of countertop space in both. It's so convenient to have those separate spaces when everyone is trying to get ready at the same time! Plus, with two connecting staterooms, each stateroom will have its own split bath, which will really help all six of you!
Check out the
Find A Cruise page, where you can play around with sail dates, ships, and then see available staterooms (inside, oceanview, or verandah) and get pricing details. Have so much fun as you begin this planning process, and please feel free to stop back here with any other questions you have as you get ready to cruise! Happy planning!
