I am looking at booking the Dolphin through Disney. The only option is rooms with dbl beds. Do you know if this can be easily upgraded through the hotel at check in or before? Can't wait to return to Disney!

    Welcome to planDisney, Tricia!

The number one thing that I love about the Walt Disney World Resort Swan and Dolphin Hotel is the amazing location! How amazing will it be to wake up in the morning to a stunning view of the Disney BoardWalk before you either walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios or hop on a convenient water taxi to EPCOT?

Tricia, while you may be able to upgrade your room on arrival, pending availability, I recommend that you book at the Walt Disney World Resort Swan Hotel instead. You see, the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel has double beds in the majority of rooms, while the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel has queen beds in most rooms. My family finds that the Walt Disney World Resort Swan Hotel is generally the better option for us. It also has the added benefit of being a bit smaller, meaning it takes us less time to get back to our room at the end of a long day.

Both resorts share amenities, including the fabulous location!

I just know that you will have a wonderful time, Tricia!

    Sending magical thoughts your way!
