I am looking into booking a cruise for my family of 5 and someone told me to book through Priceline, has anyone done that? Pros/Cons?

    Welcome aboard, Racheal!

It's so exciting to begin planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation, isn't it? There are so many things to choose! Which ship? Which itinerary? What time of year? How long? Whew! Well, rest assured that no matter which Disney Cruise Line voyage you choose, your whole family is in for all sorts of magic because Disney truly offers something for everyone!

I have never any of booked my Disney Cruises through Priceline, but I did look it up and it seems that they're just acting as a travel agent so you'd be booking through them as the agent. I'd actually recommend booking directly through Disney or if you have a friend who is a travel agent that specializes in Disney trips, book through them. Usually, your own travel agent will offer some sort of incentive like an extra onboard credit, but the price is the same. Having sailed many, many times with Disney, those are the only two ways I'd feel comfortable booking my Disney Cruise Line vacations: directly with Disney or through a Disney-savvy travel agent.

To get the best prices, book early. When the new itineraries are released, you'll find the best pricing and availability in a wider variety of categories, so that's the time to book if possible. Check out the Plan a Cruise page of Disney Cruise Line's website to play around with the pricing for different ships and itineraries so you can find the one that best fits your desires and budget, and then book that cruise!

Have so much fun planning this magical voyage, Racheal!
