I am looking at booking a cruise with family who has already planned their trip for November. How do I make sure that we can dine together and find each other on the ship.

Welcome aboard, Lindsay! Setting sail with your family on a magical Disney cruise is always wonderful, but it's so much more fun when you have another family onboard to share the experience with!

You can go ahead and book your cruise for your family on your own. Once it's all set, you can call Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532 to ask that your reservations be linked with your friends' reservations and that you can dine together each evening. It's that easy! We've enjoyed traveling with other family members and friends in other staterooms and have linked our reservations and loved having dinner together each evening to catch up on the day's events!

When you're onboard, each stateroom will have two Wave Phones per stateroom. These work like cell phones on the ship and at Castaway Cay, so you can call or text each other to meet up no matter where you are on the ship. You'll also receive a Personal Navigator that lists the schedule of events and activities around the ship. Since you get it the night before, you can plan to meet up at your favorite events the next day. Bring a different colored highlighter for each family member so you can circle your "must-do's"!

You might want to check out the Adult Exclusive Dining on the ship for a parents' night out with your friends while all the kids enjoy the Youth Clubs one night. My husband and I never miss an opportunity to dine at Palo. It's our favorite! There is an additional charge of $25 per person to dine there, but I promise it's worth every single penny for the fabulous service, amazing food, and beautiful, romantic atmosphere. Have the chocolate souffle for me! Yum!

    Happy planning, LIndsay!
