    We are looking to book some unique dining options for our family in January of 2014. How do I search for the options with activities such as fantasmic? What are your TOP recomendations for dining? We will have a 12,10,3, and four adults. Thank you

    Hi, Serina!

    There are a number of really wonderful unique dining experiences that your family can enjoy during your visit in January. Your 180-day advanced dining reservation window will be opening up in the next several weeks, so it's great that you're planning ahead!

    Here's what to do to search for special dining on the Walt Disney World Resort website: Log onto the website (you can use the highlighted link I provided) and under the "Things to Do" pull-down menu at the top of the page click on "Make Reservations". You can then narrow your search by type of dining experience, price range, cuisine, etc. To search for special dining, click on "More Options" under the Dining Experience category and select both "Dining Events" and "Unique/Themed Dining". This will bring up an alphabetical listing of these types of dining experiences and you'll be able to reserve special dining such as the Fantasmic! Dinner Package.

    I see that you have children of varying ages traveling in your party, so you might want to consider mixing it up a bit in terms of dining choices in order to keep everyone happy. With that in mind, here are my top picks (in no particular order) for dining experiences - both in the parks and at the resorts - that I think your family may enjoy:

    3. Chef Mickey's
    4. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
    5. Garden Grill
    6. Dine with an Animal Specialist at Sanaa
    7. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
    8. T-REX

    10. Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party
    11. Whispering Canyon Cafe
    12. Coral Reef
