Hiya, Martha!
A trip to
Walt Disney World is a little more magical if you can space out a little bit. There's good news, Martha! You can find pretty much all the space you need at one of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort features family suites that can accommodate up to six guests, but the best part about that is the bedroom. The
family suites have several transitional sleep situations in the living space, and then a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed. You can pull out the sleep sofa and convert the table in the living area, then the grown-ups can go to the bedroom to watch TV or plan your next day peacefully.
If you like a little rustic comfort,
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort also sleep six. Here, you'll have a double sleeper sofa in the living room, then a separate bedroom with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds.
These cabins also have a kitchen and a nice deck for you to relax on when the kids fall asleep.
My family loves the
Deluxe Villas. These come in 1, 2, and 3-bedroom sizes if you're looking for a separate sleeping area, and they have a full kitchen with a washer and dryer in each villa. They can be among your priciest choices, but if you're serious about needing some space, this is the way to go. The one-bedrooms will have either one or two pull-out options in the living room, then there's a king bed in the bedroom. Some even have two bathrooms.
I hope you find your perfect fit, Martha!
