I am looking to book a trip for late 2020/early 2021when my baby will be turning 2 and we will also be celebrating my other sons birthday and hubby and self What would be the best resort to stay at? Best meal plan? Best way to get the most of trip?

Hello Jayme!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You will certainly have much to celebrate!  What better place to celebrate than Walt Disney World Resort?  I'm so glad to hear you are already thinking about planning for your vacation next year -- you are already well on your way to getting the most from your trip.

With over two dozen Resort Hotels, hundreds of dining options, attractions, and entertainment, there are so many options there really is no one-size-fits-all Disney vacation.  In fact, my fellow panelists and I would probably each define "best" quite differently.  So let's get started on planning the BEST Disney vacation for your family.

To become familiar with all Walt Disney World Resort has to offer, I suggest watching some planning videos.  The Moms Panel also has a library of short videos on various planning topics.  I also recommend continuing to read answers to questions asked by other guests on the Moms Panel site.  You can use the search tool to read about specific topics.  The Disney Parks Blog is another great resource for news and announcements.

Next, I would browse the various Resort Hotels and start thinking about which category, Value, Moderate, or Deluxe, best fits your travel style and budget.  Each Resort Hotel offers a unique atmosphere, and while there are no wrong choices here, I'll tell you my favorites:

    Value: Disney's Pop Century Resort
Moderate: Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside
    Deluxe: Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

As far as Disney Dining Plans, think about how often your family would prefer Table Service dining, including Character Dining and Signature Dining experiences, vs. Quick Service dining.  This will help you decide which Dining Plan might work best for your family.

Jayme, I hope I have provided enough information for you to get started on planning an amazing vacation.  Please feel free to come back to the Moms Panel again to ask more questions as often as you like while you plan your trip.  We are always happy to help.
