I am looking to book a trip to Alauni resort in April of 2024 there will be three adults and 1 2yr. old child I have 265 DVC points I am looking to stay 7 days if possible? I need a suggestion on type of room and best time of month to go.

Aloha, Joseph, and Welcome to planDisney!

Get ready for the ultimate Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride when you visit Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. I understand why Stitch decided to give up traveling all over the galaxy to stay in the tropical oasis of O'ahu. You may even get a chance to ask him about some of his favorite spots during your stay at Aulani. Let's dive into maximizing your Vacation Points to give you the time to explore all that paradise has to offer.

I took a look at the Vacation Points Chart for Aulani in 2024. You would likely get the best use of your Points if you booked a stay during the April 7th-28th, 2024 period. Your party of four could stay in a Deluxe Studio for seven days with Vacation Points left over to use on another adventure. However, I recommend attempting to book a 1-Bedroom Villa to give everyone more space, especially with a little one joining the fun. It appears that you would have enough Vacation Points for a Standard View 1-Bedroom Villa for seven nights. As far as the booking time frame, if Aulani is your Home Resort, you can make reservations 11 months in advance, so I would be ready to make your plans in May 2023. If Aulani is not your Home Resort, just be prepared to jump on that surfboard at the seven-month wave, in September 2023. I always find the Booking Window Calculator helpful in determining my exact booking date. It is located under the My Dashboard tab on the Disney Vacation Club website. While exploring all Aulani has to offer, be sure to book a treatment at the world-class Laniwai- A Disney Spa. My husband thought his massage there was the highlight of our vacation!

Mahalo for visiting planDisney. We would love to help you with any future Disney Vacation Club questions!

    Enjoy making magical memories!
