Looking to book a room at the cabins but nothing is available for the next 2 months for a family of 6. Should I call them directly? Also, I may need a wheelchair for grandpa. Do they rent wheel chairs ?

    Dear Emily,

Thank you for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your planning question. If you are having difficulty booking online due to low availability, then I would definitely recommend giving a call to 1(407)W-DISNEY to inquire about The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort. Sometimes a Cast Member on the phone can see some limited availability or will know of a recent cancellation.

With regard to wheelchairs, yes, the Walt Disney World Resort wants vacations to be accessible to the maximum number of travelers and does rent wheelchairs for that purpose. There are also multiple preferred companies renting ECVs for Walt Disney World Resort guests, if that is an option for your family member.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
