We are looking to book in Janurary of 2025. I was just curious when they release when we can get military tickets for the parks.

    Welcome to planDisney, Amanda!

Thank you for stopping by with your question! The Disney Military Salute renewals typically happen around this time of year, which means it could be any day now! I recommend following Disney Parks on Instagram and Facebook for all the latest magical announcements! News of this renewal will be announced first on the Disney Parks Blog, too. Hopefully, we hear some news soon!

If you are planning on staying at a Disney Resort hotel during your visit and have already made reservations, you can call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line to add the military rate (pending eligibility status) once the renewal is announced. 2025 Guests will also enjoy the magical benefit of having admission to one of the Disney Water Parks on check-in day, which is amazing! Yes, there is usually at least one water park open, even in January! Have fun under the sun with temperature-controlled pools and water slides.

Who qualifies for the Salute tickets and resort rates? Servicemembers on active duty retired, or 100% disabled can enjoy the Salute benefits and privileges. Veterans with an honorable discharge can enjoy visiting Walt Disney World with discounted Magic Your Way tickets and can stay at Shades of Green Resort in January and September under the Category III rate. Salute ticketholders can stay here year-round.

Amanda, I hope all of this information was helpful! Thank you again for stopping by planDisney, and visit us again if you need additional pixie dust to plan your visit!

    Magic Awaits!
