We are looking to book our first cruise next year. Thinking about 3 or 4 night Bahamas on the Dream from Port Canaveral. Does either itineraries offer fireworks at sea? Is there a formal night or pirate party?

Welcome aboard, Tiffany! It is nice to see another Disney fan from Ohio is looking to book a magical Disney cruise! I enjoy cruising with Disney any time of the year, but we really love to leave southern Ohio when it's cold out and set sail to warmer weather on a Disney cruise in the winter!

The Dream offers three and four-night itineraries from Port Canaveral that stop at Castaway Cay, which is Disney's private island, and one of my favorite beaches in the world. There really is no other place like it. With so much included on the island, as far as food and activities, you can certainly stay busy all day, or just relax on the beach and enjoy doing absolutely nothing. It's up to you!

Both the three and four-night sailings have a Pirate Night, which includes Disney Cruise Line's Buccaneer Blast Fireworks at sea. Don't forget to pack some pirate gear to wear! These shorter cruises with Disney do not offer Formal and Semi-Formal nights like the longer cruises do. But, the four-night sailings do have an optional Dress Up night. Though, I must say, some guests choose to use this Dress Up night as a formal occasion, while others don't get quite as fancy. Either way, dressing up makes for some great photo opportunities onboard, Tiffany! Of course, on any of the sailings, you can book a romantic dinner at Palo or Remy, the two Adult Exclusive restaurants onboard. I love Palo and never miss an opportunity to dine there. There is a dress code in these restaurants which requires more formal attire, which you can read about on the website. So, if you're looking for an excuse to dress up, this is a great one!

I am happy to help with any other questions you have as you continue planning your cruise!
